JOYPAD TABLET PC- The most affordable yet quality product from KINGCOM

KingCom marked its 10th Year Anniversary in Diamond Hotel by launching its Joypad Tablet PC.
Is there anything new? This seems to be the question that hounds almost all gadget-geeks out there. With the emergence of newer models of mobile phones, most are forced to upgrade to…well…phones. So aside from mobile phones, is there anything else?  Is there anything new out there to give the gadget-geeks something to dream about?

Last April 28, 2011…One of pioneer in affordable gadgets, FoneTech International, held a thanksgiving party with their dealer-partners.  It was also the time that they unveiled the latest gadget in their fold, the KingCom Joypad.

At a time when everyone is still going gaga over Apple’s iPad and Samsung’s Galaxy Tab, the developers of the KingCom Joypad made sure that people will be able to experience the kind of high-technology solution that the high-priced brands offer, but without the high-end pricing.  Priced at a little over five thousand pesos for their entry level tablet, the seven-inch Joypad 71, it would be easier for people to get the grip on what the whole noise about Android is all about (Especially for people who until now thinks that Frozen Yoghurt is nothing but a delectable desser- which  by the way, is also the name of an Android version).

The flexibility of the Android platform is what made the Joypad a product to behold.  The things that you can do on the branded and established gadgets is also very much possible on this entry-level tablet.  May it be browsing the web on wifi/ dsl/ brodadband, preparing office documents (word, excel, powerpoint, pdf), jotting down meeting notes, and even complementing to your entertainment needs (playing games, watching movie, listening to music, reading ebooks). The Joypad always has something to amaze you.

What caught my attention is the way the Joypad tablet was able to fully-utilize the strengths of the Android platform.  Before, you depend on what the manufacturer gives you, or what contents the network operator has to offer, but now, you can just go to the web, search for an application that can attend to what you have in mind, find a compatible application, install it, play with it, and even discuss about it on the forums for further revision/ development.  The platform offers immense flexibility to the users (aside from the fact that most of the application are free…hehehe..very enticing for cheapstakes like me).

The Joypad tablet has found its way from being a niche product to an “essential”.  And to quote KingCom’s product development head Mr. Carlo Tabilog, “for people to appreciate technology, they need to be able to afford technology”, and so it goes for the exciting future of affordable high-tech gadgetry for all of us.
